In addition to fixing the gallery application, not yet available here. grin. I want to extend it to all for FLICKR galleries to be added.

ADD FORM required fields:
Gallery Name

Userid or GroupID:
TAG(s):

I will use the FLICKR API to fully integrate within this applications site. and extend to allow Google Web Picasa and other photo sites in the future.

I thought Digg and YouTube has some nioce UI elements for tag integration. but when looked through the site I didn't really find anything relevant. maybe last.fm is a better place to look.

But I will add some option DIGG hooks for content. Not all things, but content owner can submit directly from here.

are the main tags to get started with

and also create some TIME filters, with a couple of options for viewing the time filters.

the simple implementation is to flag content for audiences. AD HOC - allows members (logged in) to to view as an AUDIENCE - but the content owner can force member registration to subscribe to audience content. This is the basis of the permssions and security model for allowing access to site content.

Really there is no reason why I wouldn't implement many. ALL content will be MASHUP capable, accessible through webservices - meaning - other people can access your playlists and tunes through a flash player embedded on their sites. we can talk about this - obviously some issues.

I am also going to focus on the META information contained within the music file to populate ARTIST TITLE etc. and hook into Music Brainz to get images etc.

When the site detects an MP3 file - it will render with player links and offer download etc.

More complicated - there will be a set of configurable options available when you upload. What are they? you tell me - the DB/Application is very flexible right now.

I was using SiteObjects.com, soeditor, but it doesn't work in Firefox. I won't be the only happy to have rich text editing in FireFox.
I need to get documentation out to turn on the view "source" button to allow HTML editing.

It was decided to better render URLs in the content, and offer a URL miner/filter that will strip all THINGS for URL contained within them, than create a custom URL thing.

I am thinking Reviews might be simply a WEB PAGE type.

and note - I am adding RATING (options) on ALL THINGS.
and TAGGING - for categorization.

So you could create a THING TYPE for REVIEWS and TAG as COMIC or Create a THING TYPE for COMIC REVIEWS

I will include spell checker to all FCKEDITOR instances.
Note: I still need to add spell checker capability (third party hook) - but the spell check button is on the toolbar - so you will see it activate soon.

In addition to content items - I want to ALSO be able to quickly add application instances.

I need a sample example application to build. ideas?

Typically these would be single (or several) database table applications. I will build a code generator on the first example, so all subsequent THING applications will be quick to develop.

An Example would be PARTY - with an invitation engine w/ confirmation, optional viral invite capability and a webpage (and children THINGS).

I want one a little simpler... call for ideas?

A more complex one would be a STORY development engine.
